    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    You improve your writing skills that leads you to writing a well structured essay, rich vocabulary, and literary devices

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to write different kinds of essays properly and well executed. This extra push helped my writing skills greatly and got me a pass advanced on my writing SOL.

    9-11 hours

    Be displined and determined in order to completely understand what you are learning

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Mrs. Scharl really cares about the quality of learning her students receive. If you are looking to really improve your writing skills then she will not let you down!

    Course highlights:

    You learn about the art of rhetoric and how to persuade people (be it logically, ethically, or emotionally). I strongly feel that, as a whole, my writing became much more coherent.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do not brush off the rhetoric vocabulary terms!! They pop up constantly throughout the course. KNOW YOUR TERMS.
