    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I strongly recommend this class because it informs students about the specifics of biology: structure, function, how, and why. Students interested in sciences will enjoy this high level course, even students who had no intention in a science field also enjoyed this class.

    Course highlights:

Few topics in this class include immunology, classification, body systems, botany, cytology, and neurology. My knowledge of these units has broadened my perspective of the world around me different in numerous ways.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely recommend completing homework and turning it in when due, homework helps and drops your grade more than you think it would. When students stay focused and complete assignments they had better grades.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who is science-driven. As someone who plans to go into the medical field, this was a wonderful introductory college biology course. It was challenging, but not so challenging that it was not doable.

    Course highlights:

This course focused on learning the material and applying it, not just memorizing it. I learned how to think critically, and I greatly improved my study habits.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to take advantage of Mrs. Young's willingness to help you understand something you are struggling with and to read your textbook for each unit because it will help you tremendously.
