Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course. In my opinion, this class can help everyone that struggles in writing and also those that don't. English 1010 will definitely help you improve your understanding of how to analyse text properly and how to write better.

    Course highlights:

This course helped me in countless ways. I normally do not enjoy writing essays, but this class made me a better writer which made essays a lot easier to write. The atmosphere in the classroom was very inviting. I was very impressed with how much better my writing was at the end. Another thing I was very surprised at was how much of the skills that were taught stayed with me. One skill in particular that I think I learned really well was how to connect with my target audience through rhetoric. I was finally able to understand and execute rhetorical appeals properly.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise you to just have patience. It is a lot of essay writing, but if you really get into it, it can become very fun. I would also recommend that you prepare yourself for academic writing. Just keep in mind that this class is not creative writing.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher made this class what it is at Riverton High. I learned a lot about different cultures and different ways to respond to our society. There was lot of reading & work but I think this class really helped me take a look on different ways of thinking and people.

    Course highlights:

I gained a different way of looking at things that our society gives up from religion to individual thinking.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Really pay attention in this course, it may look easy and it is but the more that you apply yourself the more you will get out of it. Read the passages that are assigned - they are long but they help you understand people
