Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this class! The environment is very positive and open minded. We get to learn about how america came to the way it is today and discuss how we believe we can better our country in the future.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of minor details about who people were and how they truly impacted america that we don't particularly give credit to. I have learned to give credit and respect those Americans and the culture that has come with it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to any students interested in taking this class would have to be participate. We learn together and discuss the information as a class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is amazing. Laura is very open to opinions and willing to incorporate suggestions. Highly recommend getting to knowing her. She's very motivational and willing to work on a personal level with students. We use many different methods to learn material.

    Course highlights:

One day we spent reenacting a civil rights protest, preaching to other students as if we were a certain group involved. We learned a lot about the progression of the country and how specific events can make large impacts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your book work! If you ever get behind or are unhappy with a score, simply talk to her, she is very nice.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is very educational; I learned a lot about many historical events that I didn't even know were a thing and it opened my eyes as to how long we've been fighting for some very basic human rights.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was when we made posters about influential women and researched their motives in civil rights movements.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure your notebook is organized and thorough in its information, and take advantage of the test retakes, because they will save your grades.
