Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a good course to take, but is is not exactly the easiest. My professor, Ms. Thompson, has made us write essay after essay after essay all quarter long. It has been a good learning process but it has been time consuming and tiring.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about rhetorical analysis essays, the different types of narratives, and great review on all sentence structures. My favorite thing we did was write and revise our personal narratives. I liked how I was the only person who could write the story that I wrote.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of all the assignments. If you get behind you will hate this course. When the assignment is given, get it done as soon as you can. Turn it in when it is expected and be able to take criticism of your writing.

This course is fun and the teacher really shows a love for it. It's understandable and if you're having trouble the teacher is easy to talk to and very helpful. The course allows for you to be you and allows for some imagination.

This course allowed for me to venture into a new world of college readiness.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, have fun, and don't stress too much. Make sure you apply yourself in each essay and proofread a lot. Have multiple people read your essays to make sure they are perfect.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is very in-depth and has helped me to improve my writing skills immensely. Writing has never come easily to me but the teacher has set aside time to help me personally as a writer.

    Course highlights:

The course is college level writing and the course load reflects this. However, the writing assignments are nicely blended with lessons about English syntax and writing techniques that are helpful and easy to understand

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To be successful in this course, you need to have a willingness to work at the course and dedication to see the goal through. You will need to read through the readings that are assigned for class discussion. The biggest thing is that you don't fall behind on turning in the writing assignments.
