    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course. Although it was difficult it really helped me push myself harder as a student. in addition, I got a lot of useful information on the history of the United States

    Course highlights:

I learned so much background information on the history of African Americans as well as the history of the 1920's. I think the highlight of this course was learning about the history of the 1920's. This course also taught me how to write DBQ's properly. The course allowed me to become a better writer.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Students need to do the reading assignments every night in order to have background information before going into class the next day. With the reading assignments done you will always have a head start in the class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class teaches you important information about our country's history which I believe everyone should have some knowledge about in order to become a more active member of society, especially at such a young age. This class also pushes students to memorize dates, facts, and names that are necessary to know in order to pass the AP Exam.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about our nation's history and how this country has formed into the enterprise it is today. I enjoyed the material due to its fascinating nature and accuracy as to what happened in US history.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Dedicate time to memorizing the dates, names, and facts that your teacher assigns you. There may be a lot of information to know, but it is all relevant in the end and you can never know too much.
