    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course as it pushes students to their limits, truly testing their ability, resilience, and adaptability. The strenuousness of this course will force students to grow as scholars, preparing them not just for tests, or the next year, but for college and the years to come.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to be better as a scholar. The instructor gives little direction, allowing students to find their own paths to success, thus forcing students to learn how to study, find their own resources, and learn by themselves, skills that will be vital in years to come.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Use as many resources as possible. Aside from the textbook and supplementary text, there are many useful resources that students may turn to for additional information or review. The AP review book is especially useful in this, as it will specifically reflect the information covered in the course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP U.S. History has offered me a thorough insight on the history of America, allowing me to make world connections, explain governmental systems, and establish an interest in the humanities

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of the course was its complexity. In the class, no assigned project could have been completed without critical thinking. Ultimately, this difficulty has improved my abilities significantly

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate on the major projects of the course, or else you will have to make up for it later on

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who is seriously interested in history or wants to learn more about it. The course is very intense but you come out at the end with such a sense of satisfaction and a whole new understanding of the United States and why it is the way it is today.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was actually the thing I hated about it most many times while I was in it, and that is that you do the majority of the learning on your own time outside of school. It may be frustrating at times but it really teaches you to be organized and independent and prepares you well for what some college classes look like.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are really willing to put in the time to study for this class. You will do most of your learning independently outside of the classroom and if you're not into that this is definitely not the class for you. Also, be willing to participate because participation accounts for a large portion of your grade.
