    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course taught me so much more than just physics. The teacher, Mr. Gehring, is so well educated about the subject but also cares so much about this students. He really helps you understand and will be there after hours to explain homework, go ever tests, etc. He wants to help you succeed which makes the class great since it's already a difficult subject. He stresses the importance of how to learn as well, which has still helped me to this day in all my classes.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about Mechanics within Physics! The highlights were honestly all the problem solving sessions where you were given the tools to solve problems and had to puzzle through them until you reached that "Aha!" moment of cracking a difficult one.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to go beyond just the homework and keep up. It's important to understand as you go along because it all builds on one another. Do extra problems in the text book to solidify your understanding.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This science is extremely applicable to the real world and makes a lot of sense. It also helps you in any other math you are in since it is an algebra based science.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot from this course. The main take away from this course was the fun and interesting information I learned. Because you are dealing with real world problems there are a lot of urban myths that get debunked and interesting physical things I never would've known if not for this class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you work with your teacher on units and concepts that you are unsure of. If you need help get it. The teachers at our school especially Gehring want you to succeed and they will meet you before/after school, during homeroom to help you out.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is an extremely challenging yet rewarding one which allows studnets to not only learn but interconnect concepts and apply them to real world examples. It pushes the students to not merely memorize information, but conceptualize and integrate it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the labs and being able to apply the knowledge to real life systems. I learned most about forces and and how to solve problems using my base knowledge. This course allowed me to connect my calculus knowledge and apply it to physics. It went beyond learning the needed information, but really allowed me to deeply understand it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that a lot of self study is extremely important. It is a very difficult class with a heavy work load, which should come from self study. The information is presented well in class, but the key to being successful is working at home and through problem sets to thoroughly master the information.
