Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am a biology major, so to me this is a very interesting course. Some people think that Biology is just the human body and cells, but there is more. The learning of plants and life. The origin of earth; how it became to be. This to me is why I would recommend biology to someone.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course have been the hands on teaching, the labs and experiments we have done. I learned that everything connects in some way shape or form. Without the bacteria being formed 3.6 billion years ago, then Algae would have not been able to produce water ; which is the main resource for the human body.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell them to read. Reading and going more in depth in the course will help. Do not get frustrated; this is not an easy course, but it can be a fun and interesting course depending on your view.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Smith is a good lecturer. His powerpoints are informative, but his exams are very detailed, which is overwhelming when combined with other lab sciences or rigorous courses.

    Course highlights:

I can definitely tell you the bauplanes of animals, haha, but the basics are essential to doing well in the later courses, and I feel well prepared for BIO 212.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to put plenty of time into the course, go over the details, and flashcards are your best friend.
