Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Nelson was an absolute great professor! He really knew what he was teaching and was able to make anyone understand it. He reviews for the first two tests. If you need help, he is available outside of class to assist you.

    Course highlights:

In this course we learned many different formulas. We were able to predict possible future outcomes for events. We also learned many great interesting concepts of statistics in society.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend all of the classes! Every class, he gives a work sheet to turn in at the next class. These are easy grades if you just do them correctly. Also attending class, you learn everything you need to know for the tests and "pop quizzes" (just one question on the worksheet).

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Waller was a great teacher. She explained statistics in a way that was very understandable and engaging.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were having my professor make us remember certain concepts using famous lines from tv shows and/or movies. I learned a lot of mathematical concepts such as linear regression, hypothesis testing, and confidence intervals. This course should be taken with any major because statistics is used in everyday life in almost every field.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you understand math in general, this course will not be too difficult. Make sure you have a calculator and double check your work.
