    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course prepares you for Honors Bio and for any college Chem course you'll take. It goes more in depth and leads off of where Chem 1 ended. You will work a lot with partners in groups or as partners doing experiments.

    Course highlights:

We got to do a lot of hands on experiments which made it much easier to understand the lessons and easier to remember the materials. We also played review games that prepared you for the tests.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study bits of the study guide everyday, not just the night before. If you don't give yourself the time you'll be overwhelmed the night before and spend much longer than preferable.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend taking Chem 2 because it prepares you for honors bio or college chemistry. There is a solid review of Chem 1 to refresh before learning more and doing loads of experiments.

    Course highlights:

We got to do a lot of hands on experiments which really helped to get a better understanding of the lessons and made it easier to remember specifics when testing came because of having the experience.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study daily, not just the night before your test. He gives out study guides that you can review small sections of throughout the week that will be really beneficial come test day.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Nice teacher, knowledgeable, fun class, and informative.

    Course highlights:

I learned about stoichiometry, reactions, VSEPR theory and general rules of chemistry, through class discussions and labs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, do assignments on time, and study for the quizzes, especially if you are unsure about the material.
