    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very successful and recommended in the school because of the teacher. The teacher is very motivating and interesting to listen to. His background knowledge on the material makes the class enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

I gained an intense understanding of American History. By taking this class you will learn more than you can think of in a very deep and valuable way

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do all the readings. If you start out lazy you won't be able to handle the course load. You really have to be attentive during the whole class to not get caught behind.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I think this course provides an interesting and important look at how our country was formed, who and what caused our current way of life, and what we can learn for being a successful society in the future.

    Course highlights:

I personally enjoyed the more modern eras (the 1920s until present) because there are more resources to study and our teachers sometimes have personal examples of events. The APUSH course goes into historical details that were considered too complicated in earlier years, so you get a more thorough understanding of the subject.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Spend a lot of reading and analyzing primary sources. You can increase your understanding of the subject and build skills for the DBQ.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was fantastic! I enjoyed it because it is the history of our nation, it's the history of our relatives. It's the history of African Americans. It's the history of women. It's the history of America and it's steps to get to where our society is today. My teacher was also fantastic and had passion in teaching us the course.

    Course highlights:

I believe the highlight of my course was the within my year the course was team-taught with the class, AP English Language. The two teachers combined the lessons in a way that complimented each-others lessons.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The course takes a lot of work, whether it's reading, writing, trying to memorize which president came in what time period, to what battles followed the Battle of Bunker Hill. In the end the the knowledge acquired was worth the hours of studying.
