Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course to all future students at Marshfield High School. The subject content is compelling and vivid, throughout the entirety of the course. Also, the course is adequately challenging, however Mr. Dargenio presents the content with precision and makes it easy to understand.

    Course highlights:

Due to this course, I have a newfound appreciation towards the study of history. Also. by studying the dynamic history of Europe, it helps me to put current events into perspective. Aside from the content, the main highlight was the teacher. Mr. Dargenio makes the course enjoyable, while being a strong, positive influence, and is a major role model for me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Although the homework does not account for a large part of the composite grade for the class, I strongly advise students to work diligently to keep up with the homework. He does not assign too much, and none of it is busy work. Every assignment will help you understand European history further, as well as preparing you for the AP National Exam.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a very interesting course for someone who loves history and loves to know the cause and effect of events in history. Also there were just 10 key dates you had to memorize to understand what caused events and what the effect of it was which gets you through all the years of European history.

    Course highlights:

I learned many causes of main European history and what was the effect of that. Also I learned that these events were the main reasons we have conflict today in Europe. Along with the rivalries between European countries.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to review on your own and reread notes that were taken during class. Understand what is happening with key people in the studied time period and understand how it correlates to the larger picture of European history.
