    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because with the lecture based learning style is what I expect in college and with Mr. Dargenio's open door policy I can always ask questions.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course is that you learn something new every time that there's a lecture. I learned about kings and queens that I probably would have never heard of outside the class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Look over your notes daily with constantly looking back at previous chapters so there is nothing confused with something that is the opposite. Also don't be afraid of asking questions!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is important for learning history but you also learn universal truths about the human race. The course is interesting and pertinent to the modern age.

    Course highlights:

I learned about my ancestors' history as well as the highs and lows of civilization. Trends continue through history into today and

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There are plenty of books and movies about almost every time period. If there is a period that you are having trouble with, find a book or movie about it that makes it interesting for you, then it will be easier to learn.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class can be very difficult for those who aren't interested in history; you have to understand what's going on in many different countries at the same time! However, it helps students get a better understanding of their world and why things are the way they are.

    Course highlights:

I personally enjoyed Louis XIV, Napoleon, WWI, WWII, and the Cold War because the intricacies are fascinating and there is so much going on during the time period.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings and the homework; they really are meant to help you. I personally find it helpful to put the information in a more interesting format. Read a good historical fiction novel based in the time period you're studying or watch an interesting documentary about an important figure or event. It helps you learn when you actually care what you're learning about.
