Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because there are many valuable life lessons as well as important subjects that you need to know in college and even for the rest of your life. The teacher was easy to work with as long as you were getting your assignments done and turned in on time. Any question I had was answered promptly and in detail to make sure I understood the whole concept. Overall a great course with knowledge I will use for the rest of my life.

    Course highlights:

I gained an overall great experience in biology as whole. Going from anatomy to cell reproduction. I learned about every part of the human body as well as getting to see the organs up close in a cat dissection lab. I was able to learn the whole cell and how everything works as well as how ecosystems all work together as a community. I learned about microscopic creatures as well, studying them under a microscope and learning about what they do, how they are made, and what they contribute to.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be able to take your homework in your own hands and get it done on time as well as doing it well. The course work is relatively easy as long as you pay attention and take notes. The notes in the class will save your life when midterms and finals come up.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I enjoy all science classes but when taking biology with Mr.Kenyon I was fully emersed into the course giving me the chance to learn in a safe and encouraging environment

    Course highlights:

I learned everything about the living systems, cell biology and how cells are made and what makes them run. I learned some anatomy as well as how ecosystems work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, you'll thank yourself when midterms and finals come up. Pay attention as well, you need to know what's going on at all times.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course only if you enjoy learning about biology, about how organisms actually live, including you. This course is absolutely necessary if you have the desire to learn about yourself, and the living beings around you. In AP Biology, you must submerge yourself into the content, and take everything you can out of it. In the end, it is preposterous the amount of knowledge you gain regarding how organisms are able to live. I highly reccomend this course if you are eager to learn about life.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about evolution, how everything on this Earth came from a single common ancestor. The more interested you are in the content, the more successful you will be. Evolution was my favorite topic of this course, but there are many other topics that were right behind evolution. Primarily, I enjoyed learning about what makes us humans live. It was extremely interesting to find the truths out about the things we think we already know: for example sweating when it's hot outside, this would be a prime example of homeostasis. It's fascinating to learn the details behind why your bodies do what they do, when they do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying for tests is absolutely essential, study your notes, and watch specific videos about certain topics you need refreshments over. YouTube is the best place to find videos over AP Biology, specifically Mr. Anderson's videos. Mr. Anderson's YouTube channel helped me the most with understanding certain topics in biology. Finally, never be afraid to ask your teacher for help. Your teachers are there to help you, they want to see you succeed. You will always be more successful if you understand the content provided by your teacher.
