    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Course highlights:

It really made me think about what I say before I say them. Plus it made me think that I shouldn't be self-centered because you never know what someone else is going through in their life

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you participate during the discussions because it is mainly a participation class. There is little paper work but it is a big talking class

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a run through of all the major topics and controversial issues going on in our world right now. This includes, racism, gender issues, minimum wage, social class, different cultures. basically this class is a break down of all these topics and more. This Is a very enjoyable and interesting class that everyone can learn from.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were when we talked about learning disabilities and special Education in general. I learned that everyone sees through different eyes and special education children are just like us with different views. The word "Retarded" is worded so it is used, against people instead of as a medical term. This word literally means "slow" Disability and special education people are just slow. They need help grasping ideas and concepts, but they are not stupid. The word "retarded" is usually used as a term to imply someone is stupid. This is not okay, all together this class is a very educational opportunity I am proud to be a part of.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep an open mind, listen to others opinions, then state your own opinions and ask what they think. there is not a lot of work in this class but when there is a project or paper it is worth a lot so if you don't want to work or share your opinions don't take this course but if you are willing to participate absolutely go for it. this is a great educational experience.
