Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class will challenge you, but accept the challenges. The class will become easier for you once you accept and embrace the challenges you are faced with.

    Course highlights:

The highlight for me was watching the CNN Student News everyday. I learned all about how the government functions, and the roles each branch plays in each problem.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to what the teacher is telling you. Taking notes is key as you are allowed to use them on a few quizzes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

With the upcoming election, I would definitely recommend this class because it teaches how the voting system works and why it works in such a way. They will also learn how politicians can manipulate the system and the voters which is something everyone should be wary of.

    Course highlights:

Knowing your rights and how they are gurannateed to you are important facts that are useful in the future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY!! There is a lot of memorization in the course and studying will get you through the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course, even if you have no interest in government and politics. I started off not wanting to learn anything in this class because I was disinterested. However, my teacher created a very outstanding experience which allowed me to grow more and more interested in the topic.

    Course highlights:

Going in to this course, I knew nothing about anything that they were talking about. I barely knew the basics because non of it interested me in any way. Because of this, I gained a lot of new information throughout the semester. We learned everything and more needed to know about the United States government system. We also even had time to throw in some amazing tips and extra facts and information about random things throughout the course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go overboard with notes. The more you write down, the more you will know and the easier it will be to retain the information. Write down not only what the teacher presents, but also the small things they write on the board and all of the examples.
