    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's challenging, but rewarding and it's one of the most important and quickly growing fields!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to think and approach problems differently. I also learned how to think like a computer SCIENTIST and not a computer programmer, meaning I learned how to find the fastest and most efficient solution as opposed to just finding the easiest solution.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always ask questions and... PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE! I cannot stress that enough! Computer Science is something you only get better at through practice and experiencing various situations.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class allowed me to understand Java as I was having my difficulties but as soon as the class curriculum started to click so did I and labs were easier to complete. There isn't much bad about the course except the fact that class is at a fast pace and there is many topics to cover before the AP exam .

    Course highlights:

Computer Science allowed to explore all studies of java extensive , this class taught me so much as we move at an excelled rate . The highlights of the year include the final project where a partner and I recreated a popular iPhone game " Ballz" , this game implemented a lot of the curriculum from class orientation to arrayLists .

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Ask questions because this class isn't easy to grasp , don't wait last minute to finish code you should give your time to fix mistakes , read the course textbook as most the material is explained thoroughly , use class time wisely . Study the material as a group as one can help another , practice code by writing it down it helps a lot and always make sure you know your final code .

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is a great way to mess with and learn how programming works and it is easy to practice with it.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you have to invest your own time into learning programming languages by messing with the code.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Play with the programs and always search for new information to make your code simpler shorter and easier to follow.
