Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

While not everyone enjoys or respects the teacher's methods of going about the course material, I would highly recommend taking this course if you are interested in psychology. You learn about a lot of interesting things, like why there is a family that walks on all fours, or how easily manipulated the human memory is.

    Course highlights:

In the beginning of the course, you learn about the "grandfathers" of psychology, like Sigmund Freud, Jean Piaget, Albert Bandura.. etc. Then, you go into brain parts and you learn about how the brain stores memory and prioritizes control over certain functions. This is followed by the Mental Illness Unit, the Health and Stress unit, Social Psych unit, and more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE COURSE MATERIAL. Seriously. The exams will DEFINITELY have questions about figures and charts in the book, so if you think you can skate by without reading, you may be disappointed.

    Course Overview:

It was very interesting learning about the basics of psychology and functions of the brain.

    Course highlights:

My favorite unit was the mental health unit. It was interesting to learn about different mental illnesses and their causes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you read the textbook thoroughly. A lot of the test questions will come directly from the textbook.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is taught at a college level in high school. It really makes you be responsible for learning considering you're not taught the same as you are in a standard high school course. You learn a lot about psychology and how to study an learn on your own.

    Course highlights:

The highlights would be the way he gave us so much freedom to work on our own and I learned so much about the human mind that I still remember today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the book and get a good understanding on the topic, if you don't I recommend asking a peer for help.
