    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it really is a great opportunity to learn. You have a lot of fun in this class. You will have to write a lot but as your write you are also learning about yourself and the world around you.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the music videos we had a chance to analyze. From these videos I learned so many skills needed to analyze.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read all the material given, be sure to talk in open discussions, and make sure you like to write.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it was extremely useful in teaching you how to transform your high school-based writing skills into college level writing skills! Also, it is a mandatory course so I also encourage you to complete this course as early as possible, as it will help you in bettering your writing for other classes.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge on how to write personally and formally, how to write using retoric, and how to compose a blog.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I encourage you to be prepared to write a lot! The reading is not as heavy as the writing, stay focused and take this course early on in your learning career.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Adam Janos is an excellent professor. He is a very capable teacher, genuinely excited when students are inquisitive and will do all in his power to answer what he was asked. However, there is a LOT of reading required. Skating by on Sparknotes will not be sufficient. In addition, if you do not like writing, choose another professor. You have been warned.

    Course highlights:

Highlights: Reading one book I was interested in, watching videos as homework, lenient professor. What did I learn: classroom discussions can lead to classroom arguments. Learn the art of debate sans verbal abuse.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should definitely buy novels if possible. they will be very handy in writing papers and preparing for quizzes.
