    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Obviously in english comp classes there is a lot f writing, but Fandler was not helpful in letting us know what she wanted. She would write "missing something" on an essay and not be specific at all.

    Course highlights:

I read articles to learn how to write since she was no help.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

ask as many questions to her as possible.

    Course Overview:

Professor Harrell is the best professor I have had in my college experience. She helps you grow and expand not only your writing, but your thoughts, feelings, and ideas too. Her class opens your mind to things you may not have been exposed to yet. The discussion based class allows you to express yourself in a judgment free zone and hear others opinions.

    Course highlights:

I learned about my identity. That was a big topic in the course. We learned about ourselves and others in order to understand empathy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When you get graded papers returned, pay attention to the professor's advice for revisions/next essay. She will quickly get to know your writing and she knows exactly how to make your papers successful.

    Course Overview:

Josh was one of the best instructors I have ever had, and he really opened my eyes up to English. I used to hate English until his class when he let us choose what we were passionate to write about. He gave me direction in my writing and he turned me into an efficient as well as confident writer.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to do research as well as how to understand other points of view and write from the other side. I really loved how he let us choose what we wanted to write about and make our own decisions in our writing path.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Have fun and be engaged in discussion during the class. If you read the homework passages and facilitate the discussions in class, you will do great on your written papers and you will feel more confident talking in front of the class.
