Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course, because the professor is very good at explaining each topic. He provided videos of each section and really broke each problem down and also included hand written notes for each video.

    Course highlights:

I gained in depth knowledge on how to figure out mortgages, interest rates, and how to apply that to my own life. I would say that was the most useful knowledge for people that don't know how to figure that out and need help with figuring out loans.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes on every section from the videos he provides. When it was midterm time, I referred back to my notes to help me on topics or formulas I had forgotten. This course was required for my degree, so if it is for you too, I would take it with Professor Downs.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it was fun to learn more about all the other math ways. Also very easy to follow, although there were some confusing parts, the professor helped understand.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this class for me was learning the Mayan and Egyptian numbers and symbols. Putting them into equations was difficult but once you get the hang of it, it is fun and easy!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly recommend you go to all the classes and pay attention. Some things are tricky and you will have questions. This is not a class you can learn on your own!
