Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is a must for any music students or musicians because you learn so much about music history and theory and it adds necessary depth to the perception of any artist. We also learn about black music coming out of slavery and jim crow and how its affected modern music such as jazz, pop, and of course hip hop.

    Course highlights:

We learned classical, romantic, and baroque composers and the impact they had on their fields. We also learned a lot about jazz and pop and the pioneers in the genres such as Chuck Berry and Louis Armstrong.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to the music that he assigns the class on Spotify because if you don't you will be very behind. Also make sure you go to the outside activities that he'll require you to do because that really affects your grade.
