    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Maria Ortega is a fun teacher, she definitely loves psychology and knows what she is talking about.

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot of basics about how the brain works and a lot about how the past affects the way that people are now.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE SYLLABUS. I could have totally ruined myself the first few weeks of the semester by not realizing that there were 3-4 online assignments. Another word of advice, if you do miss out on these first assignments, talk to her about it! She let a few students in the class redo the assignments before the unit was over.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I definetley recommend this course. I have always wanted to take a psychology class and this was my first chance to. It was so full of amazing knowledge and interesting facts that I always wanted to come to class. My instructor was very knowledgeable on the subject which made it all the better.

    Course highlights:

Some of the best parts of the class was when we were getting into how different drugs affect the brain and what it does to a person. Not to mention the life experience that the professor had shared.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If I had to say anything I would say show up to class and take notes. Everything that was went over was put on the test. Not to mention study for your test because there are a lot of questions.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was extremely interesting to me. It covered an array of mental disorders as well as the way a person thinks or comprehends certain information

    Course highlights:

I learned the different mental disorders people have and the difference between each one (ie: Bi-polar vs. depression). The difference between alcoholics and drug addicts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take detailed notes to study from.
