Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course! The professor is phenomenal! She is very helpful, fun, and also tolerable. I took a few classes with her and all were great. The assignments and projects were also interesting and comparable to real life circumstances/situations.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights was definitely the professor. Also the assignments/projects were not too bad, very fun to get into.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Talk to professor, put effort into work, participate

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mimi is an excellent teacher, under whom I have taken three classes. She really made a difference in how I see the world.

    Course highlights:

I learned how other people in society may see me, and I see how people see each other. It was very eye-opening.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not ignore the extra credit! The extra credit is an excellent thing to take an advantage of because it can be used as a cusion in case you have a hard time with an exam or miss a regular assignment.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class helped me to better understand the struggles of those different from myself. As a white male I have a lot of privileges afforded to me and it was very humbling to learn about the struggles that others go through.

    Course highlights:

I gained a greater understanding of racism, sexism, the Civil Rights movement, and feminism through this course in an academic sense. It was also very interesting to learn about the history of various racial and ethnic groups in the United States

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this course online, as much as I did learn a lot the experience would have been much richer had I been able to engage in face to face discussion with classmates
