Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a great introduction to biology and a prerequisite for many degrees.

    Course highlights:

This course, like I said, gave me a great understanding to basic biology and started my love for science. In middle school, I hated all sciences. I was dreading taking this class but it was required so I did. I ended up LOVING it and it gave me a general respect and understanding for science that just continues to grow as I take more science classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

TAKE NOTES! All the quiz questions are almost word for word from what we talk about in lecture, so taking notes is really important. Also, always be reviewing your notes. Don't just review them the night before a test or quiz. There is a lot of memorization required and most of the quizzes/exams have some sort of listing you need to do. Don't be afraid to ask questions!!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I honestly didn't think I would like bio because I wanted to major in chemistry. But once I took this class I felt like it was easier to understand than Chem. This class was definitely a struggle if you didn't study but it was a blast with the professor.

    Course highlights:

I loved lab days because we got to work with so many different bio instruments. I personally like all the time we got to do with the microscopes. Overall thexperience course was great both lab and lecture but lab was the best.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I highly suggest you study for this class. Lectures are long and there are a lot of information in them. So studying is an absolute must. I recommend you get a group together to study and test eachother.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

He makes the class go by smoothly and has a sense of humor. He also understands the material and offers many resources to ensure the students do to.

    Course highlights:

It is basically a simple overview of general biology. We spent a lot of time on cells and their functions. We also spent some time on domains and kingdoms, chemistry, and reproductive systems.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and take notes.
