    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is definitely a challenge, but it covers a large amount of topics that are very interesting. Some of these include evolution, genetics, genetic disorders, body systems and more. If you are interested in a career in science later, or you are a person that is interested by the human body and science in general, this course is a great experience to have.

    Course highlights:

The best parts of this course were the hands-on experiments that we got to do weekly. We would learn new information in the classroom for a few classes, then apply that to the real world with labs and studies. For example, we bred fruit flies in test tubes and recorded the inherited traits of the offspring. These procedures made the class more interesting and interactive.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When considering this course, know that it can be a good amount of work, but it is worth it. If you work hard and put a lot of effort in, it has great results.
