Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course covers a majority of what I learned from the Human Service Delivery aspects as it has given me the skills I need to gather data which is the first steps of the multidisciplinary approach, synthesize ideas by organizing and evaluating a range of ideas that a particular case may present, collaborate with other professionals in order to actively listen to each other and share different viewpoints about a case so that communication takes place in presenting an identifiable course of action.

    Course highlights:

I learned that there are multiple steps involved in clearly identifying problems and once the problem is identified, as a professional, it will take a team and different points of view to address a clear direction in addressing the problem. I also learned that making recommendations during or before the collaboration and communicating steps will result in premature or inconclusive results for the client. In other words, the client may not receive the help they need.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You will need to follow direction precisely, be organized in keeping notes, post discussions and assignments on time, and communicate with the instructor when any issues or misunderstanding of the assignments arise.
