    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a required course, so there was absolutely no way to avoid it. Statistics evokes feelings of anxiety and dread in many learners. Dr. Trunk totally changed my outlook on statistics. He was extremely present and involved with the learners within the course. He has a passion for statistics and seems to truly want the students to comprehend the lessons.

    Course highlights:

There was a spirit of engagement in this course that I had not experienced in other statistics courses. I learned many concepts that I have still been able to retain in my memory. The greatest surprise is too understand its value in the real world and utilize some of those terms. Supplemental instruction is a great asset in statistics. It supplements the main lessons by providing additional assistance that makes a more involved learning experience. Without it and Dr. Trunk's knowledge, there would have been failed course grade.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

There is much support and learning tools that are available to the learners. Please take advantage of them, engage and ask questions. The supplemental instruction sessions should be mandatory as they add an extra layer to understanding the lessons.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really did not personally find this teacher helpful. but other resources from other teacher teaching the same class offer better resources. Such as, youtube instructions for the assignments. Look up youtube statistics and apply your assignment and search for help

    Course highlights:

Well you do need this class to graduate type of research in any field, that is why it is required. I did learn what I needed to learn. I just hated it half the time

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

get a teacher with fabulous resources.
