Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course gives a student a great perspective on how to interact with other cultures through verbal and non verbal communication. This course will keep you very busy so be prepared to research topics using the book and the internet.

    Course highlights:

I learned that what is perceived by one culture could have a different meaning in another culture. Attention to detail, and being aware of how different cultures interact with each other changed my perception of communications

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you have time to take this class. The discussions, research, and papers will consume a great deal of your time. Also, my class required a headset. I was required to do a recorded presentation a few times throughout the course through Adobe.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course. My professor was so interactive with us students and she gave feedback that really made us analyze our character. I learned so much about my self throughout this course and I have an entirely new paradigm on intercultural communication.

    Course highlights:

This course opened my eyes to the lack of sympathy for other cultures and it showed me the importance of getting to know an individual before passing judgment. Our nation is surrounded by so many different types of people and the moment we stop judging and start understanding is when we can truly start moving forward as a whole.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't just do the work; just to do it. Really take the time to learn what the professor is teaching you because this course will teach you how to improve yourself and your communication skills with other cultures. If you take the time to understand what this course has to offer you will realize the positive effect that it will have on you in the end.
