    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course covers the tenants of ethics and law in regards to diverse settings and situations

    Course highlights:

    At times, the law and ethics do not agree. During these situations it's up to the counselor to determine adequate decision making tools.

    9-11 hours

    definitely need to take this one.

    Gave good information about ethical responsibilities in becoming a counselor

    Course highlights:

    The highlights were that I was given models for making ethical decisions, as well as an overview of the key legal and ethical standards that counselors need to consider when choosing a course of action.

    The advice I would give students considering this course is to pay attention to the law and the ethics surrounding counseling.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    The profession of Counseling will call for a multitude of issues that arise as part of the profession. This course will offer a guide map into thinking about ethical behavior and good counseling practices. Many ethical issues will have an impact upon licensing and legal ramifications. Dual relationships, billing, record keeping, confidentiality and harmful clients are enclosed in the course content and you will encounter these in practice. Course tip: Review the code of ethics for the ACA and APA prior to the commencement of the Course.

    I have gained a means to think through boundary issues within the profession.
