    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was challenging but the pace was appropriate for the content and the professor was very helpful with any questions asked!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course included learning about the importance of tests and assessments in the field of psychology. A lot of work goes into forming these tests and I gained knowledge on how to begin research for a test that I did not have before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to ask questions to the TA or the Professor! They are there to help. Also, if your course offers SI sessions, GO TO THEM.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is necessary for the degree I'm seeking

    Course highlights:

So far I am learning a lot about administering tests. This is not my favorite subject because of the difficulty I have in understanding the subject. I probably would do better in a classroom setting but I am trying very hard to understand the material.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Get in the books early. This is a tough class and if you stay on top of the assignments you will do well

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a great start to understanding psychological testing and terms used for this type of testing.

    Course highlights:

One thing I gained from the course is better APA writing skills. My skills were poor or lacking and it allowed me to work on citation mistakes that I was not aware of. Another benefit of the course is that it gave a base understanding of the different forms of testing and standards or criteria that each test should be meeting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not go into the course with the idea that it is hard. Ask questions for clarification. Always take the quizzes for better understanding of what is being discussed as well as classroom meetings. The information can be very difficult if time and patience is not dedicated to reading and class. Pay close attention to APA standards as this class grades harshly for any mistakes.
