    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course because it enlightens a student about the epidemiology of urban vs rural areas in a population and disease prevalence.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of the course relates to diseases in development countries and the how it affects the poor in rural areas versus urban areas. The lack of education in rural areas and the disease epidemic.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be prepared, be discipline and focus. A student entering this class must know how to enter into class discussion and participation in an intellectual manner and give responses that have research backing to challenge the argument. Also the student must be able to think critically, and can write clear concise paper using APA format and no grammatical errors. Maintain a GPA of 3.0 and higher.

    The highlights of the course are the relevant technological challenges, resources limitations, cultural barriers, beliefs, that have shaped current approaches to their prevention and control.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be prepared to do research, apply critical thinking, scholarly writing and using APA format. Schedule time for study. Being knowledgeable in your arguments, presentation, and class discussion and participation. Always reference your writings.
