Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Instructor Raya is very intuitive. She makes learning interactive and pushes you to use all coursework tools to create and open discussion and thought process.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the class were that I once thought how I would think and act in stressful situations. however, I learned that there are several views like understanding everyone has a right to what happens to their own body. That in situations like removing a person from life support their rights need to be respected whether you agree or not. I also learned that physicians have a duty not to harm their patients or practice beneficence to enforce their own view on patient health.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you plan on taking this course please have an open mind. you may think that creating stem cells are good but there is another view on the issue. you may believe that women's health is a big issue but find that their are more important issues on the rise. just have an open mind and be prepared to share your view on topics that may be difficult.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have enjoyed the diversity of the ethical topics presented & the lively discussions!

    Course highlights:

I learned there are several different ethical theories

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the material presented and ask questions if you need clarification. Also, do not let yourself get too heated regarding different discussion topics. There are difficult ethical dilemmas that are presented, but they are just there to help everyone think about the material and apply it to a possible scenario.
