    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You will learn a lot during the course but it is extremely difficult and writing intensive. The suggested resources provided by the school are not helpful in the least so be prepared to do a lot of independent research and digging in order to find resources that will help you complete the assignments.

    Course highlights:

How to use financial theories, methods, and analytical tools, including capital structure and financial statement ratio analysis to increase corporate value.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking multiple courses at the same time, you may want to consider dropping to just this one.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a difficult course with minimal guidance in the FlexPath program. There is a high requirement to work with a tutor whereas, other subjects don't necessarily require the help of a tutor. Tutors are not always available. Unless you're a finance major where you have the background in finance, I don't recommend this class.

    Course highlights:

I did learn about financing in business however it was minimum.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it in a regular classroom environment unless you have a finance background.
