Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I like math, but i'm not a master. I love this course because it makes me really search for the answer. It's challenging, but it makes you focus in on what your working on.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course was getting your test back at the end of the day and realizing that all your hard work and dedication payed off.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, you must put effort into it. If you don't understand the material, make sure you can got to someone for help. If the teacher assigns homework but does not collect, do it anyways because odds are that there will be similar questions on the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it provides a lot of teacher/student interaction and challenging questions to help you comprehend precalculus.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of mathematical terms that I had long forgotten from high school, and I was able to memorize the entire unit circle without a diagram in front of me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you come to class with questions. If you aren't sure of the problem, the professor will gladly help you understand so the class can progress easily.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Loved this class! By far my favorite math class I have ever taken.

    Course highlights:

I am definitely not a math person, but I understood everything prof shrader taught us! He's very good about answering questions and talking through the problems. He has office hours and he will go over questions with you before or after class. The subject isn't easy but he made it easy to learn!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the homework he assigns! He may give pop quizzes. Go to class every time, he counts attendance and it might be hard to catch up if you miss too much. I had to study a lot to do well on the tests, but there is nothing on the tests that he doesn't cover in class. I'd recommend taking college algebra first- I didn't and struggled more than other students at the beginning.(it's doable without algebra, just easier if you have had it!)
