Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me to really grow as a writer. Through this course, I learned how to be a professional writer as well as become a casual writer that will be helpful in a work setting in later years. It was extremely helpful to take for my first semester at college because it helps you to transition from high school writing styles to college writing styles.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights to this course is you are able to gain a voice. With high school writing, you are given a topic and you must write based off of that one thing. In this course, you are given a broad topic and form there you pick your more narrowed down topic to write about. This allows students to gain more of a voice and gives them a certain amount of freedom that makes it more fun for them.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

One thing I would advise students about is to not wait until last minute to do the papers. The papers that you are given are not really difficult but they do require time and some of them require research that can not just be done the night before it is due. Make sure you work on it a little bit each day until it is due to get the best results.
