    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

UBC is a large school and this is both a positive attribute and an issue. The giant variety of course gives students a large reach over their own curriculum but because of the size, it can be extremely difficult in deciding what classes to take; nothing is streamlined and because of the large number of students,

    Course highlights:

it can be difficult to discuss with an adviser. Similarly, while the professors are all very knowledgeable, it can be difficult to find help outside of class. Expect to be independent.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There are plenty of independent teams, if you don't want to join varsity, but these are mainly for amusement, though there are competitive games.
