    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because the legal concepts are applicable not only to your future occupation, but your personal life as well.

    Course highlights:

The chance to observe a trial for the purpose of a course is unlike anything I've experienced before. It's sparked an interest in law for me. And the legal concepts learned can be helpful for anyone in BC.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you thoroughly read the material before every class, including the cases. This will allow you to contribute to discussions and gain participation marks. It will also help in your preparations for exams. Keep practicing with past exam questions as well!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Some students may be afraid of failing this course because it requires a lot of reading and memorization. In fact, you can definitely to pass this course or even get a good grade as long as you understand the key rules of law and know how to apply them in real cases. Working on the sample questions of past exams is a hundred percent recommended since the sample questions are pretty much what you can expect on the exams.

    Course highlights:

This course is quite interesting actually. Every student needs to complete and submit a court assignment in the middle of the course. The students are required to visit the court house and then write a report on the case heard. By hearing the case, you are able to get a sense of how a case is processed in real world, and what rule of law can be applied to the case.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Working through all the sample problems is definitely recommended.
