Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you interested in the study of how organisms change on the molecular level, this course is for you. I would recommend this course to any first year undergrad, it's and interesting course and Dr. Arts speaks enthusiastically!

    Course highlights:

The main highlight of this course is the study and theory of evolution. You learn to appreciate natural selection and the complexity it produces for organisms over time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just re-read lecture notes every week. Repetition is key as mid-term tests were mainly based on lecture notes!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is fairly easy if you like biology and even if you don't, studying will get you above a B for sure. The average course grade in the class in Fall 2015 was B- which is pretty great! The labs involved with the course are not too difficult but the tutorials are mandatory which make it a pain sometimes.

    Course highlights:

Learned a great deal about evolution and the toll it has had on the many species on this planet. The content is very interesting and similar to material covered in grade 11, however, the detail is much greater and interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and know your facts, all tests are multiple choice which should make it easier. The final exam is not too difficult and the professor usually tells you what terms and lessons to focus on.
