I would recommend this course to any student planning to do work in Diaspora studies. the course offers an insightful and often complex view on the problems and issues faced by persons who migrate to foreign countries. Different diasopric groups and how they engagement and thrive within their communities within foreign countries. Also learn about victim diasporas who become refugees abroad which is a very pertinent issue on our time. Talks about the idea of home. What is home and how do we as human define the idea of home. Talks about the idea of belonging, diversity and multiculturalism.
