Pretty easy, overall.
I would definitely recommend this course. It is an excellent entry-level biology course that goes into depth regarding all realms of biology. Professor Soros had reliable lecture notes, kept the lectures interesting and was very helpful. I am currently a student who works full-time but am also taking courses full-time, so I was unable to attend a lot of the lectures. I reached out to Professor Soros and informed her of my situation. She was kind enough to guide me through the material, informing me of anything I should pay attention to, what I can disregard and went through my self-guided study material with me. If you can go to the lectures, I recommend doing so.
As stated previously, this course is a good baseline for upper level biology courses. Although it is very dense with information, it is an excellent course. This course was a great refresher for information that students need to know on the MCAT, DAT and OAT (biology sections). As for students who are not looking to write an admissions exam, this course will provide a brief introduction to many biology courses you may take later in your academic career.

Advice for students:
It is both easy and hard to succeed in this course. What I mean is that the actual material is very fair and put in the hard work and if you keep up with the lectures, labs and ask questions, you will get a good grade. I personally found that creating my own mock questions for each lecture helped a lot. This is a technique I have used in a lot of my classes and has not failed me. There is a lot of information so condense your notes by making flashcards, diagrams, charts and tables.
