Pretty easy, overall.
The course is a well-paced survey of popular statistical learning methods. Assignments have a good mix of theory and application. The professor is very prepared for the lessons and is always patient with student questions.
The term project was very useful for seeing the applications of the class material. The task was to analyze any dataset with the tools learned from the class and present the results during an informal open house exhibit which was attended by graduate students and professors in the faculty. It was overall a very useful experience.
