    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Very practical to real life experience, the group project is very realistic and promote brainstorm ability, teamwork ability, and leadership ability. The course is very well designed and let students fully participate into the class and learn the necessary material from the lecture. The class does not necessarily require textbook, but rather the general concept and terms of the material, so student can implement their own thought and idea into the material to gain real knowledge, rather than just read off the textbook.

    Course highlights:

The group project was the highlight of the course, I got to dig into a specific car company about their manufacturing process and manufacturing organization, so I learn a lot about the automobile industry in general. I also learned a lot about the scientific management theory regarding the daily operation of the automobile industry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should attend the class, participate with the professor and ask any questions, get involved into the project, not just a free rider. Students should also take notes in the class, because a lot of the material is not written or cannot be written, just try to focus and write down as many notes as you can. Although this class is fairly straight forward and easy, you still need to prepare well to ace the exams.
