    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dives deeper into genetic mechanisms as well as the evolution of life through a molecular perspective. More memorization required than 1001A, but still requires lots of application. (Maxwell is much better than the other profs)

    Course highlights:

Molecular convergence/divergence, meaning of the molecular clock, understanding what happens to different types of traits overtime, endosymbiosis, and most importantly; Chlamydamonas, a modal organism used in this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Never miss class, rewatch the online archives, understand the broad concept but do not be fooled as minor details are also relevant, go to the LAMP review sessions, and UNDERSTAND the concepts.
