Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The instructor was engaging and fun, the labs were relevant to the lecture content, and the rules of conduct were clear cut. If you didn't do what was expected, you didn't stay- as is right and fair based on the institution's rules and responsibilities for the students as well.

    Course highlights:

I learned much about diseases, gram positive and negative bacteria, lab equipment and proper utilization of it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do as you are asked to do- homework, reading, etc. The suggested/recommended work is beneficial and makes the material easier to absorb.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

i would recommend it the teacher is nice, but the work is hard if you dont come to class everday.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the interactions of the microscopic world and how they both consciously and unconsciously shape the world around us.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy flash cards and invest in a microbiology poster .

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was an accelerated 5 week course. I enjoyed it extremely because it was very cool to work with bacterias that cause commonly known diseases. We got to test medications on them and do a range of other experiments. We learned how to identify many different microorganisms and I learned a ton of information in a short amount of time. Just be prepared to work very, very hard.

    Course highlights:

The highlight for me was probably testing the medications on the different bacterias and seeing how resistant or susceptible they were to the medications.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work on your homework every night of the week if you don't want to fall behind. And pay attention in class. Having a vested interest in the class would probably make the course a little easier.
