    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

We were taught a very comprehensive course on the beginning of the United States of America. It was extremely interesting and it was also challenging but we were given plenty of resources to succeed in the class.

    Course highlights:

I loved making a Civil War Diary as a final project. We were given the simple guideline that we had to write in the voice of a human during the Civil War; a prior student wrote a diary as General Lee's horse.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy the book! All the quizzes coincide with the book and it is written very well. I copied all the vocabulary terms into my notebook as a study guide.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He has a lot of expectations for discussions and assignments but doesn't really explain them very well which can effect your grades.

    Course highlights:

You learn a lot about important movements in history, civil-rights, gay rights, women rights, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Use the book on the quizzes and you should be fine, but make sure to be very thorough and detailed in your discussions and discussion replies or he will mark you down a lot.
