    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely loved this class. Normally writing classes are not very interesting but my professor made the class fun. He did not just sit there and lecture but he asked specific questions about the stories we read and was able to engage us in discussions.

    Course highlights:

I learned that college isnt so scary and the professors are not as hard on you as high school teachers always say. I learned so much about poems and short stories that i never knew before and I learned how to better pull meaning from them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice for this course is to read the stories assigned and participate on the discussions. Also ask for help when you need it and go to office hours with your essay drafts. The professor will make time for you as long as you make time to go.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Handley's enthusiasm for her field is contagious, making it easily one of my favorite courses. She definitely knows what she is talking about, is very fair with her grading, and was definitely worth taking. I highly recommend her course.

    Course highlights:

We covered Renaissance writing all the way up to Post-Modern writing, covering poetic forms and prose.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The textbook is recommended, she assigns homework reading, however most of these are online, I personally only used the textbook in class when we did class reading and audio-booked all the homework via YouTube.
