    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

"Intercultural Perspectives" gives students a new appreciation and understanding of the various cultures that reside in the United States. It assets that America is a stew pot, not a melting pot. It also teaches us to respect other cultures.

    Course highlights:

The Hispanic American unit was very informative, as we learned about the importance of the US/Mexico border and how it affects Hispanic peoples. We also learned about the importance of family. Throughout the course, we learn about the blurring of racial identity and individual identity in many culture groups in America with the Caucasian norm/standards.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the short stories ahead of time. Your paper should focus on an image in the story. Participate during the discussions!
