    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course only because it is really interesting for anyone who has ever even remotely likes history.

    Course highlights:

I gained so much background knowledge about the state I was born and raised in. It was very insightful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE BOOKS. they absolutely WILL help on your exams and quizzes. Also, know which chapters you should be looking at for the tests.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am not the biggest history fan in the world, but this class definitely sold me! I love the personal aspect of the culture and history being so close to home. Plus, Mr. Reed is a great teacher! Very laid-back and fun to work with.

    Course highlights:

I definitely learned a lot of things about my home state! So many things we take for granted here are actually important historical facts. For example, did you know that Arizona was one of the biggest suppliers of cotton for World War II? The coolest part about this class is how everything directly relates to you and where you live! History is all around you, and this class will prove it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you read the book, you should do just fine! Definitely don't slack off or skip chapters though, because you could miss something really important.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I just never could figure out what was going to be on quizzes and test. It could have been a geography question, someone who had a small role in the text, or something that you have never of thought of to tuck away in your memory. I did learn a lot about Arizona history and enjoyed the student presentation. The book was sometimes jumped around with dates. The professor always had a fast response time. I would not recommend taking this class online.

    Course highlights:

I never realized the amount of history that surrounded me here in Arizona. This class was informative on the conflict between Anglos and Indians, how poorly they were treated, and the different struggles that both sides had to endure. This course was also interesting because I learned how Arizona became a state. I loved the student presentation at the end of the course. It was a fun learning experience

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise to read each chapter twice. Make an outline or take notes on each chapter. Make sure you have good communication when you do the group project. I would definitely take this course in a classroom and not online.
