Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed this class because I learned a lot about the Theatre arts and drama. I was required to see at least four plays in this class and I was glad I did because I experienced a more cultured view of the world.

    Course highlights:

At the end of the course for extra credit we were to pick a monologue to recite and I chose from a Streetcar Named Desire. It was an awesome experience and I will never forget it, i passed the course with flying colors.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Every course is exciting and interesting. Attendance is important.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Pickard no longer teaches the course due to his retirement. However this course over all was perfection! What a great insight to the world of theatre and how it continues and thrives.

    Course highlights:

Aside from all the basics of placements of a stage, taking a tour of a stage as well as going to see a performance was truly fantastic. Lots of reading material but the material was an easy read.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your material and engulf yourself in the theatre world.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I like theatre, and it was a pretty good class. Interesting things, and the purpose is to get you , of course, appreciate theatre. It went through a lot of basics of theatre, and didn't require too much from you. It basically had you put an investment into theatre so you understand that world a little better, and consequently can better appreciate it.

    Course highlights:

The primary point of the course was how to critique a work. That may sound odd, but the idea is if you know how to determine the quality of a play or musical, you will be better able to appreciate what goes into them and the amount of factors that go into a good quality performance. You also learn all the basics of theatre language and terms, which was good.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The teacher cares a little less about grades, more about effort. Be there and try your best and you'll do fine. There was a presentation at the end though, so practice so you don't get too nervous. Oh, and be ready for a bit of yoga.
